Findings are the heart of our research reports which is why most of the research time should be spent on this section. Let your findings speak volumes; wow the client with your work! 🏅
Be mindful of the following content, sourcing, and formatting requirements in this section.
Wonder’s goal is to deliver high-quality research to every client, every time. Therefore, our response must always be comprehensive and robust. Even if the client never has the time to read all of the articles and reports we carefully collected for them, they should still understand the answer to their question by reading your findings. So making sure the content is thorough, accurate, logical, and complete is the MOST important part of the process.
Only include relevant information in your findings.
Answer/address all parts of the client’s ask comprehensively.
To ensure that we provide a comprehensive response, the following is required:
Invest the total hours of research that were approved by the client.
Enhance your findings by adding relevant charts, graphs, images, and/or infographics. Add a minimum of 1 image per 3-hour request unless it is a spreadsheet or slide request.
📢 📢 If the Research is a Client Update (Partial or Full), follow the requirements and format outlined on the Client Updates page and provide other helpful findings relevant to the client’s goals. 📢 📢
Avoid excessive quotes and intentional plagiarism (level more than 20%).
<aside> đź’ˇ đź’¬ Excessive Quotes
Excessive quoting is defined as choosing to quote a source instead of restating the information in your own words for ≥50% of the research report's content. This does not include instances where direct quotes were required by the client/Interpreter.
Clients pay us to research in the public domain and write an original synthesis of the data we find. The use of quotes can be powerful, yet must be well-balanced with the Analyst’s original synthesis to pack the most punch.
While we expect there to be quotes, we suggest using direct quotes only when necessary (e.g., when quotes are required by the client/Interpreter, when maintaining the intention/potency of the original language, when quoting someone, when quotes “add” to the original synthesis, and when providing a value proposition, mission/vision statement, company/product/brand messaging, ad/marketing messages, complex scientific findings, and definitions, etc.)
When quotes are used to “add” to the Analyst’s original synthesis, take care that they flow well with the overall writing and don’t seem out of place.

Why is it important that we all use the same formatting? Our clients, especially our membership clients, have high expectations of Wonder's research. Uniform formatting increases their satisfaction and makes it easy to understand the research that is being presented to them.
