Wonder has a Job Drop Policy. To ensure we deliver research to clients on time, we ask Analysts to decide whether to drop a job within a 60-minute grace period. If an Analyst drops either a Research job three times after the grace period of 30 days, the Analyst’s Wonder permissions (Research) will be subject to pause for 1 week / 7 days. The pause will be considered a warning. This means that you, as an analyst, will need to decide if you are comfortable keeping a job within the first hour.

You have already read the RCs, clarified unfamiliar jargon, and jotted down keywords. Now it is time to decide whether we will keep the Request.

<aside> 💡 Wonder analysts know where their strengths and weaknesses lie and don’t indiscriminately take on jobs and topics they cannot complete well. Ask yourself where your strengths and weaknesses lie and proceed accordingly.

Do not be afraid to release a request you are uncomfortable with or not interested in. The best research tends to come from topics we are familiar with and passionate about! Our best analysts understand this and frequently release projects when they are not 100% confident they can complete them well.

Note 1: Ensure the editor is working properly within the first hour!

Note 2: While Wonder’s job drop policy insists on deciding whether to keep the assignment or not within the first hour (60 minutes), Wonder values Quality. So if you’ve claimed the job but don’t feel confident after one hour, you can still release the job and use Get Help to explain the situation and why you don’t feel confident keeping the assignment. Though we don’t expect you to feel uncomfortable after an hour of research, we do understand that this can occur. We champion challenges, but not at the expense of quality. We appreciate you putting the client’s experience above your earnings.
