Wonder Academy Overview 🎓

Wonder Academy is a one-week program (Monday - Friday) designed to set you up for success on our platform. Over the next five days, you’ll learn how we produce research for our clients, who range from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

We’ve prepared five self-paced learning modules (3 hours each, 15-hour total time commitment) to get you up-to-speed on how we deliver high-quality research to our clients. Here’s what you can expect:

• Learning Modules: We'll release the course curriculum before classes start. You are expected to have read the curriculum each day so we can jump in, do a quick overview, share examples, and answer questions. It is imperative that you are prepared each day since we only allow one hour per day to be in person.
• Team Meetings: We're here to support you! We'll host live Zoom meetings daily from 1:00-2 pm EST to go over the learning modules from that day and answer any questions you may have in a Q&A session. At the end of each meeting, we’ll upload a recording that can be found using the link located above in our Wonder Academy Workspace.
• Assessments: Each course has one assessment that covers the day's content and gives you the chance to showcase your knowledge through a quiz or practice exercise. Wondering if you should complete the assessment before or after our daily Zoom meeting? You decide! However, it’s essential that you submit the assessment by the specified deadline prior to the next day’s Zoom meeting.
• Note on ChatGPT Plus
  • It is expected that you have an understanding of ChatGPT, prompts, and prompt chaining. If you do not, it is your responsibility to become familiar with this tool, as we use it for every research project we use.
  • We will cover ChatGPT Plus on Day 2, but we will not be teaching basic LLM/AI skills.
  • Wonder will reimburse you monthly for your ChatGPT Plus subscription.

Once you’ve passed the daily assessments, you’ll have the chance to practice what you learned and prepare a research brief based on an actual client request. Upon understanding and successfully completing the research based on our feedback, we’ll start sending jobs your way. Here are a couple of success benchmarks you’ll want to aim for once you get started.

• Milestone #1: After successfully completing your first five jobs, we’ll celebrate your progress with a $150 bonus (yay!).
• Milestone #2: After successfully completing your first ten jobs, we’ll celebrate the end of your onboarding journey by granting you your research permissions on the platform and an additional $100 bonus. We’re rooting for you!

While we would love to share every detail of how things work at Wonder, we are also mindful of your time commitment to the onboarding process. These modules will serve as a roadmap for you to navigate the Wonder Knowledge Center and learn all things Wonder! Please take time to review the Academy Prep modules prior to starting Course 1. Trust us. This will make your week go far smoother and will allow you to get to work as soon as possible.
