When clients launch projects at Wonder, they trust us to deliver high-quality research outlines by conducting preliminary research, determining feasibility, and proposing research paths that help them meet their goals and objectives. When analysts review Request Criteria, they trust us to clearly and concisely communicate clients' expectations.

Preparation

Read the Chat Transcript

Start by reading the Chat Transcript, the original record of what the client requested. The Chat Transcript is your main source of information on the client’s ask. Make sure to open the Chat Transcript in a separate page to view any links (documents/sources) the client has shared. Make note of all relevant details from the chat, including any documents the client shared, specific sources/timeframe requested, and information they want us to exclude.

Helpful tip: Paste the entire chat into the Goals section so you don’t have to go back and forth when summarizing the goals and objectives.

Read Engagement Details

Sometimes, the Strategy also contains an “Engagement Details” section. Clients can group related projects together in an Engagement, allowing them to kick off parallel/follow-up projects easily. If the Chat Transcript is clear and/or the Engagement Details do not relate to the Chat Transcript, ignore the Engagement Details section. However, if there’s conflicting information in the Chat Transcript and the Engagement Details, proceed with the details provided in the chat as the Chat Transcript supersedes the Engagement Details.

Only include Engagement Details under the following circumstances:
