Claim a Job
Claim job from strategy dash.
- Available projects have a status of Awaiting Assignment.
- Awaiting Research Manager status indicates that a proposal has already been sent and is waiting for the original Research Manager for the project. Do NOT claim these projects if you are not the original (OG) Research Manager.
- To claim the job, select Assign from the drop-down menu on the right, and enter your Wonder username.
- Only claim/work on one new job at a time.
- Prioritize by time on the dash, with ENTERPRISE taking priority over self-serve.
Propose Research
Complete the Strategy job following RM Strategy Job Requirements and using the required Strategy Content + Style Guide.
Send all first proposals to the client for approval.

đź’ˇ An exception to approval requirement: McKinsey projects are authorized to submit to the research dash without approval if they fall below a $2,500 threshold. Specific guidelines:
- The project must be no more than 45 generalist hours or 18 specialist hours.
- The project must not need clarifications or alignment in terms of pivots/DA issues.
- When auto-submitting these projects, please ping the Customer Success Manager (CJ) in the Slack #project-management-quality channel after the project is submitted, and include the link to the project, the size of the project, and the client’s email (this is on the ingestion details page for quick reference).
- Note: This applies only to McKinsey, not other ENT teams.

Respond to Client Approval or Comments
When the client responds to the outline, the Research Manager receives an email notification and may find the project back on the Strategy dash with the “Awaiting Research Manager” status. Assign the Strategy job to yourself again to begin working on it.
Depending on whether the project is fully approved, or the client replies with comments and clarifications, follow the following steps:
Approval with No Comments
Adjust the content to be analyst-facing. Specifically:
- Remove data availability statements/explanations.
- Remove any unapproved research paths.
- Remove any clarifications or client-facing notes.
- Remove any “version” numbers from the Strategy title, if applicable.
- Submit the approved research path(s) to the dash.
Response with Comments or Clarifications
If the project has client comments/clarifications that do require changes to the RCs:
- Adjust the proposal accordingly, making sure that:
- Any new RCs are feasible and data is available.
- The scope is adjusted as necessary.
- Any data availability statements are updated as needed.
