Compensation

The Research Editor shows you the total compensation for the job you are working on. Tier 3 analysts are paid $15 per research hour, Tier 2 receives $20 per research hour, and Tier 1 receives $25 per research hour.

When you submit your research, your compensation is added to your earnings for the current ****two-week pay period. You can see your earnings in the current pay period at the top right corner of the Dashboard.

Payday Logistics

• Paydays occur twice monthly on the weekday closest to the 15th and the 30th of each month.
• All payments are sent via PayPal.
• The cutoff for completing jobs within a pay period is 12am/midnight EST on the night before of the payday. You will see any earnings for jobs completed after this time the next day once payment is distributed.
• The goal time for payout is 12 pm EST, but we aim to get it done earlier!
• You are paid the total sum of all request-related earnings and bonuses you’ve accrued during that two-week period. You can view your earnings in the Earnings section of your dashboard.
• For any questions about your payments, please add an entry using this form, and we’ll aim to resolve your query within 1 business day.

Note on Taxes

Wonder does not issue any Form 1099-MISCs to researchers. Instead, any IRS reporting will generally be done by PayPal, the company that pays you directly.
