While we still have a lot to learn when it comes to using ChatGPT Plus and other AI tools as a source, for now, we will adopt the following guidelines. As the tools develop, these guidelines will most likely evolve with the changes.
- We do not cite any generative AI tool (ex. ChatGPT) as a source.
- We confirm that all sources provided by these tools are accurate and relevant before use.
- If a generative AI tool shares a source, we verify and directly cite the source.
- If a generative AI tool provides an idea or a process used in the course of research, state the idea or process used in the Research Strategy as a creative solution without citing it.
- DO NOT SHARE THE CHATGPT TRANSCRIPT in the research report.
- DO SHARE THE CHATGPT TRANSCRIPT in the comment section of the Research job.
Note: Using ChatGPT to simply show that the information is not available is not a creative strategy. You may mention it to let the client know you left no stone unturned, but for this purpose, it is considered the same as a direct Google search.
