- For You: You deserve to be paid a living hourly wage! Poor time management leads to an unsustainably low wage.
- For Wonder: Analysts with good time-management skills are able to handle multi-faceted requests while still providing lots of value to the client. Uniformity in time management across analysts provides consistency across Wonder’s research, leading to satisfied clients and, therefore, increased repeat customers.
- For Clients: Clients want a consistent experience across all Wonder analysts, so we all need to be able to provide research that is similar in quality and quantity, which we can do via time management.
Consistent, thorough research means more satisfied clients.
How do we best manage our time?
Utilize a standard outline to guide your research process!
Step 1: Read the chat/RCs - decide if keep a job (5 min)
- Do you feel comfortable with the topic?
- Do you have time to work on this request right now (or within the client deadline)?
- Do you understand what the client is asking for?
Step 2: Post in Teammate Channel (“Job assigned: Name of Job (Linked)”)
Step 3: From Chat, identify Common Project Type and Build an Outline (10 min)
