Each Research job has a Research Criteria (RC) that specifies what the research will provide to answer the client’s question. This will be your main source of information on what to include in your research report.

Based on workflow, there are two types of Research jobs at Wonder. These include Interpreted Research jobs, and Project Research jobs. The Research Criteria will have a different name and appearance in each type of Research job.

• If you feel that your follow-up will take more than 12 hours, please reach out in the channel within your job thread.
• If the client mentions turnaround time or budget, immediately post in the thread for your job.
• Check to see if the client has a preferred starting point.
  • If not, decide on a starting point by using the chat to help you figure it out.
  • For example, if the majority of the chat is talking about market sizes and at the end they mention demographics, it is pretty clear that they are more concerned about market sizes, and that is where we should start.

Interpreted Research Jobs

Interpreted Research jobs are individual 3-hour Research jobs with a list of Research Criteria (RCs) under the Request Details section.

In addition, these jobs include a “Notes from the Interpreter” section where Research Managers add RM Notes or links to project documents that are needed to complete the job.

• Note: RM Notes include background knowledge provided by a Research Manager in the Research Criteria to give the analyst more context into understanding the client’s objectives, and/or additional information the RM has for the analyst to complete a project.

Research Criteria: Use the Research Criteria (RCs) and any notes provided by the Interpreter to complete the research.
