Order of Priorities

We will always prioritize getting projects onto the dash and urgent communications over collaborations and QA checks.

Below is a list of tasks according to their priority.

  1. McK Project Receipt Confirmations
    1. If there is a new McK project in the Inbox, send a quick confirmation within 30 minutes of receipt. Prioritize outline based on DL.
  2. URGENT/VIP/PILOT project updates
  3. Follow-up Launches
    1. Tight Deadline, VIP, and PILOT are the most important, followed by any other follow-ups
  4. Urgent Project Collabs and Comms for VIP/PILOT/ Tight DL/McK
  5. QA checks for PILOT/URGENT/VIP and those where notifications are re-routed unless delayed, in which case it gets handled STAT
  6. Courtesy Copies for VIP/URGENT/PILOT.
  7. URGENT/VIP/PILOT Revisions
  8. Other revisions
  9. Routine Project Updates
  10. Routine Teammate collabs with project comms and approvals
    1. While collaboration is very valuable, we must understand that we multi-task. Collabs are something we do in addition to everything else.
    2. If you are busy and can not get to an analyst to assist with a follow-up, it is acceptable to remove their timer if you think they might time out. Please do not prioritize writing a follow-up over any other high-priority tasks we must complete daily.
  11. Routine QA checks with notifications handled on the platform
  12. Routine Revisions

Research Managers claim the next outline task available. The goal is for Strategy jobs to be claimed within 1 hour. No project will be waiting for a claim longer than 1 hour.
